Hi! I’m Brian Lay. I’ve been exploring the use of healing touch for over a decade. I am fascinated by touch. But not just any touch. I’m talking about touch with the intent to listen, to communicate, to connect, to heal, to honor, to adore. The culmination of these experiences has led to the development of this offering, which I call a “bodywork journey.” Come experience for yourself how it feels for your body, mind and spirit to be listened to, understood, respected, and celebrated!

Professionally, I received my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Touro University California in 2013. I am board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT).

Personally, I am passionate about participating with healing, however and whenever the opportunity is present. My life has been profoundly influenced by many different healing modalities, most notably, meditation and mindfulness in all its forms, teachings of the mystics from all of the world’s great faiths, touch based therapies (OMT and life changing massages), and sacred ceremonies of many kinds. I believe that we have the ability to decide how our individual lives will contribute to the ongoing evolution of human consciousness. What could be more exciting or meaningful than this?

If you come to see me because of pain, I hope you leave without pain. But that is only the beginning of what I hope for you. I also hope you leave feeling deeply grounded, at home in your body, sacred in your skin, connected to Mother Earth, one with Nature and Spirit.
